About Ryan DeMarco

Hi there! I’m Ryan! I am a lifelong learner, passionate educator, and enthusiastic history nerd with a global twist!

With over a decade of teaching and mentoring experience, I bring energy, depth, and a personal approach to every tutoring session. I served as a teacher a department chair at my local independent school. Throughout my career, I have taught middle and upper school students and lead academic programs that connected the classroom to the world. Being an AP teacher, I have successfully guided my classes to be well above the passing average for the state and national level.

With my teaching and mentoring, my goal is always the same: to help students build confidence, ask great questions, and think critically about the world around them. I’ve worked with students from ages 12 to 18 in classrooms, one-on-one settings, and online environments. I blend storytelling, inquiry-based learning, and real-world connections into my lessons, and I’m always ready to tailor our sessions to match your learning style, pace, and goals.
